Then around 1372, the French managed to regain control of Poiters. How?
Levan The Hundred Years War resumed when the French, with the help of a fleet from Castile, defeated the British off La Rochelle.
In 1375 the English and French signed the Truce of Bruges. This limited the British presence in France to Calia, Brest, Bordeaux and Bayonne.
